Edition #49 Notes

Designed with Chilean graphic designer, illustrator, andtattoo artist Natalia Acevedo. Natalia is currently living in Toronto, Canada, and creates work that is adorable, playful, cozy & warm. For our collaboration, Natalia illustrated a repeating pattern for the cover with many cute and colorful characters.

It's been a while since I made a Bookhead Club edition with a repeating pattern, and I'm excited to be making one again with Natalia's adorable design. We printed onto a super soft material that is very very (very) fun to pet and hold.

Fray level: Low

Most Dapper Notes covers are made using fabric, which naturally frays with use. Each material behaves differently, and this meter will help you gauge how much fraying to expect from your notebook. Read more about fabric covers

Inside the notebooks we have endsheets with another design by Natalia, utilizing a brand new printing method, where I printed in ✨ full color ✨ onto handmade decorative paper that has bits of nature embedded inside. The end result is pretty striking, and looks almost as if the cover creatures help assemble it all.

The softest material

Soft velvet is one of the funnest materials to have on a notebook cover. Once you feel it, it's kinda hard to stop petting. The production process of this soft material is quite cumbersome, but oh so totally worth it.
