While 2021 recaps are flowing into your feeds, and since time is linear here's what I've been working on and what's coming up next:
Pictured here is an AMAZING mascot illustrated by the very talented Manny Aguilera. Over the last few months I've been 𝕤𝕝𝕠𝕨𝕝𝕪 working on branding Dapper Notes. In six years of making notebooks you'd think that I, a graphic designer would have branded my side gig slash passion project, but alas the cobbler goes barefoot and so on.
Dapper Notes is mostly just me, and I only have so much time to do all the things I want to be doing. Which I why I enlisted help from good friends, like Manny for the mascot, Mark Caneso for making a logo, and Simone Katz for her marketing expertise.
Branding takes up a surprisingly large amount of work, and I've made peace with the fact that the upcoming changes will not appear all at once. There will be no big launch because at the end of the day I want to continue focusing on the best part of Dapper Notes. You know, the actual stationery.
I also have several new product types that'll be coming out in 2022. Some are easier to make, some are still in their experimental stages. I'll say more when I have what to show.
